I think that our global virtual classroom team worked very well together. Thanks to programs and web sites like Moodle and Nicenet, we were able to communicate well with our partners and therefore set up a plan of action. The combination of all of our projects has gone together very smoothly. Through virtual classroom I have learned how to use many useful programs such as text edit, Photoshop, Flash, and whole bunch of others. I have also learned how to communicate easily over the computer with friends. I have learned that sometimes working with other students can be both enjoyable and annoying. Sometimes I feel that they are a lot of help and fun to be around. But other times I feel that they waste too much time. As far as my own work habits are I have learned that I am very responsible and can create a schedule for when I need to get my work done fairly easily. I think that I would do this type of project again if I had the opportunity. To me it is a great way to communicate with other countries and people, and to learn about what is happening in other countries at the same time.

I think I have learnt a lot with GVC and made new friends. I have learnt all of the different programs on the PC and it also has helped me with completing work faster it was good fun. I have learnt how to work with other students from different countries and we have worked really well together.  

I have learnt to be fast and produce work to go on the PC. Yes I would like to do it again; it is really fun working with another school and even a different county.

I think that our group worked together pretty well on the assignments. There were a few bumps here and there but it all worked out in the end. Throughout this project I have learned so many more things about computers esp. Macs. I’ve learned ho do to flashes and hot potatoes. So I’ve learned a lot.  Working with others, I try to help them if they need help and always listen to what they have to say. I’ve definitely been improving on turning in work because it really can affect a grade. 

 I had a great time and it was so fun to work with other people on these projects. I really wouldn’t change anything. It was really good.

I think we worked really well together and we got along very well. We each had our own jobs but if we got stuck we helped each other. I have learned about web site creation, and how to develop my ICT skills. I have learned how to communicate with American and Japanese children. It was very fun. I have learned about American life styles their daily routines and their hobbies and skills. I have learned that I can’t really to do my work the next day, as a result of this I do my work as best as I can and make sure I do my task.     

I would defiantly do this again because it is great fun and a fun way to learn education. You also meet great friends. I would change nothing, everything is great.

I have learned a lot about Samurais. They always seemed interesting to me, but I never got the chance to learn about them so I stepped up and I picked samurais as my topic. I also learned a lot about technology especially programs such as flash, garageband, fireworks, photo booth, photoshop elements, and hot potatoes.  I have never worked with other students outside of the country, and I thought it was very interesting. I always wanted to go to Japan and somehow I worked with students who live in Japan, which is really cool. I also wanted to know how England is different to us. They are in many ways but we are similar too. Back here in the US I have made friends who I sit next to which is very nice. I have learned that I do sometimes goof off and not work and well eventually turning it in at the last second. But I do turn it in and I get A’s, which is very nice. I have been getting more responsible and my assignments are getting in at time so I am very happy a bout that.

I would like to do this project again because I love computers and being on a computer for 40 minutes in school is so, so nice. It also lets me meet new people, which I love because I’m very social but just a little bit shy. I would also love to learn more things about these Macs and their programs. I would not change anything, it is overall good but again nothing is perfect, so there is something that would need changing, but I don’t know what it is and I will have to wait and find out.

I think we worked really hard and well as a team. Everyone contributed to this massive project. I have learned about other cultures and people as well as the past of my local area. Furthermore I have learned to help other people and communicate with them. I have learned to work with people across the world and I have learned how to enjoy new things that I have never tried before. I have learned that I am good at getting my work finished on time and that I learn best when it’s quiet.

Yes I would like to do a project like this again because it is really fun and you get to work with different people. I wouldn’t change anything because it is already really fun.

I think that as a collaborative group, not only did we work and communicate well with other students in our period, or even just the students in our school but also with students from our partner cities in Japan and England. We did not let the Atlantic or Pacific oceans stop us. We did not let English or Japanese hold us back. I think that I have learned an incredible amount about computers and their abilities. When I was presented with our ultimate goal of this competition, I thought that there was no way we could make our own real live web site The idea of working and communicating with students from countries across the world seemed even more out of reach. But now I know that it is all do-able. I have learned that when working as a group nothing can be completed without a large amount of communication.  Students have different skills and know different parts information but when put together, like a jig-saw puzzle, we are able to figure most anything out. I have learned that I can manage much more then I thought I ever could. I came into this project knowing very little about computers  but just with exploring and experimenting ,I was able to figure out how different software worked and how to use them. I was able to teach my self so much about the world of technology.

We have worked in a really good team and shared ideas really well with the 3 groups. I have learned how to work in a team and get things done on time I have also learned how to work a computer well and make a web site Even though they where older we made friends and worked in a really good team. I have learned that I can be responsible and get work done on time, by myself or in a group.

Would I do it again? Yes and no because if it was about something boring I wouldn’t want to do it, but this one’s on time machines and that is a fun subject, you can learn lots of things. I would change the layout to make things more clear.

I think that we worked pretty well together.  It is sometimes kind of hard to work as groups when we are all on different computers, but the site looks good so we managed to work as a collaborative group. I have learned lots of things about many different computer programs. I have also learned a lot about history because of the many different events that the site takes us to. I have learned that all students have strengths and weaknesses and that  you should let students work with their strengths but also encourage them to work on their weaknesses. I have learned that I like to get things done right away so the I am not always worrying about assignments  and I also have plenty of free time. I would like to do this project again because it is amazing how much I have learned from this project and I would love to have an opportunity to learn more. I wouldn’t change anything about this project. It was fun, but it also had some challenges (which made it even more fun.)

I think we all worked together brilliantly and the finished web site looks amazing. I have learned about other countries and how to make a web site and to mix with others over the Internet. I have learned that when working with other students, you can learn about what they enjoy and how to do different things. I have learned that I am quite good at doing things on time, however I am quite messy!

I would definitely do this project again but I would like to be more involved. I would like it if the 3 countries could speak the same language because it was hard for the Japanese school to communicate with us.

In my opinion,  overall this year, I think I worked well in a group. One thing I really enjoyed about this aspect of the program is that everyone helps to create something worthwhile. I really loved the way everyone had been working hard all year and then now, it all came together. I have learned how to work better in a group and I have learned to use a lot of very cool programs that I love to work with! I have learned that no one can slack off when working on such a monstrous project. Everyone must do their part, regardless of what they feel like doing. I feel that I tend to procrastinate for a little while but that I always realize when it's time to work and I always do that.

I would definitely do this type of project again. It was a great experience and I really enjoyed the sense of responsibility. I'm not sure I would change anything if I had the opportunity, well, maybe starting a little bit earlier in the year on the site.

I think that our group worked well together during the entire project. We were able to put together a good site so far. We only have a few finishing touches left. I have learned many things about computers, like extensions I knew nothing about before. I learned working with other students can really help make a great contest web site I learned to be more responsible with the work I am required to complete. I would like to do this again, because a second time around I would be able to already know extensions and other important part of a web site early in the year. I would like to change the theme if I do this again next year, because I would like to not do the same theme two years in a row.

I think we worked really good as a group and were very talkative. I have learned more things in every subject while we have been adding things to the web site I have learnt more things about Americans and Japanese people.  I have learned that I need to get things done on time. I would like to do this again because I thought it was fun working with other people. I would change it so that you only worked in twos and you spoke the same language so that you can speak to each other more.

I believe that our group did a very fantastic job on our web site ad flashes as a group. We followed that “all for one and one for all” because at time we each helped one person and then one person helped us. I have learned how to create dreamweaver documents, create flash documents, create action scripts, work on java hot potato, and fireworks documents. With working with other students I have learned that every student has a skill that they can use to their advantage as well as to the groups. I have learned that my work habits are strong when I am in pressure, being responsible to complete work actually helps my work habits because I have the sense of responsibility to help me to my task. I would LOVE to do this type of project again because I get to learn about computers and I also get to work as a group on a fun topic. I also enjoy the fact that I have to opportunity to work with other kids and teachers around the world while doing something fun. I would change nothing about this class and project.

I think we did very well collaborating as a group. I have learned how to work with other people across waters. I have learned that I can work well with other students, and about there cultures. I have learned about my own work habits and being to complete work that for a job like this I am better at working that I can compare ideas with. If I had another chance to does a kind of project like this again I would do it, because it was a great experience and opportunity. I don’t think I would change anything, because I think that it works perfect the way it is.

I think I worked pretty well with a group because they sometimes help me but they also annoy me. I have learned that it’s easy to use the Mac if you are taught how. I learned that it can be helpful to have more people helping you with one thing because if I tried to do it by myself it would take a lot more time trying to figure it out. I’ve figured that if I procrastinate it will only make it harder to do so I should turn things in earlier. I would like to do this again because it is fun and I’m sure that I could do better and have more fun the next time I did this project. I would make it so there was a complete section for music in the GVC web site

I think we did really well collaborating as part of a group. I have learnt that it can be fun and exciting working with new people. I have learnt that it is important to finish work on time if people ask you too. Yes, I would love to do this project again if I ever had the chance.

I think I don’t work as well in a group than I do by myself. I think I have learned how to use many programs on the computer, and a lot of information on the countries that we are partners with. Even though we are from different places, we can still come together to work as a group and accomplish goals.   I think that I need to do less complex projects, so I can complete them on time.

I would like to do this again because I really like using different computer programs to work with people from different places. I would like to be able to interact with the different countries more than we are now.

I think I worked really well I got to know the other group so quickly. I have learned to use different programs on the PC and produce work faster. I have learned that if you don’t do something well your letting the team down. I have learned that if you don’t finish work you are letting your self and other people down. I think work well with groups because I try my best to remain focused and work my best. I have learned to use different programs and take directions into consideration.  I learned that getting help from a peer is more understanding than getting help from a teacher sometimes. I have learned that it is better to do work sooner than later.

I probably wouldn’t like to do this again anytime soon because it takes responsibility and my responsibility level isn’t really ready for this yet. I would change the concept. This is very helpful to read for anybody, but in order to actually be interested in your read, to make you want to read it, you have to grab attention and vibe with your readers. This could be a little more fun.

I think that everybody worked together really well as a big group to make our web site brilliant. We also made some really good with the American and Japanese children. I have learned a lot more about computers and I have learned how to work our new webcam and how to use Skype to talk to the American friends. I have learned a lot more about the different cultures by working with other students.  I think that I work well so that I can finish my work in time. I would love to get the opportunity to do this project again because it was such an experience. I wouldn’t want to change anything because I think that the web site is so great the way it is.

I think I did well,  because we made a good web site I've learned how to work with many different applications on the computer. I have learned that working in a group is easier because there's more people who give ideas. I need to check to see any new assignments, so I won't fall behind.

I think we all did really well as a group and made lots of new friends- it was even better that they were from different countries. If we hadn’t worked as such a good group we would never have got this far to complete such a good web site I have learnt to use more programs on the PC and type faster this has helped me to complete pieces of work faster. I have found out about other students and their culture and celebrations. We were allowed to communicate on skype and through email. I can now work better as a group and complete pieces of work faster.  I would like to do this project again if I had the opportunity, however I would like to do it with a different theme which I would enjoy more. I  would change the theme I didn’t like the time machine much, but I still enjoyed it.

I think I did very good because every one has different ideas that are creative and we all used them somehow. I have learned more about how to use computer programs and how to upload and save them appropriately. Also I have learned about World War 2. I have learned that if you get others combine your ideas with others and work together on the ideas then you can succeed. I have to check if I have an assignment due soon so I don't get behind on work.

I think we work good as a group. I think I have learned to make a web site I like working with people around the world. I can work very well as a group and get things done. Yes I would like to do it again because it is very fun and I like working on projects like that.

I’ve learned to use lots of programs on the computer like Flash, Dream Weaver, Garage Band, Google Sketch-up, Java hot potatoes, Photo elements, and Fire works. I have made a few new friends but also learned their strengths and weaknesses. One of my classmates is really good at making music. Some people are also easier to work with. I probably would change how I did our Flash by starting on it earlier because we were rushing to get it finished and up and running.

I think we all worked really well even thought we where in different country.  I have learned a lot about the different three country even England.  Not much, as I normally work in team. I need to finish in time. I  would love to as it would be a great opportunity for me. I would not change anything.

I think we did very well. There was creative help going on, music being created for projects before they were even done (Alex and Emma), general computer assistance, and much more. I have learned to use Flash, Fireworks, and other applications that I had never heard of to a great extent. Also, how to upload, export, etc. etc. LISTEN TO WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY!!  Juggle different projects or it will come back to bite you and that I spend too long working. Of course. It has been fun collaborating with my friends and people from other countries on something anybody in the world can view as long as they have Internet access.  Less assignments per application so that we have more time to get the web site done and completely edited and “Garagebanded”.

We worked really well as we co-operated together as a team. I have learned a lot of new computer skills. I learned working with other students from other schools is hard at first, but I found out if you all do a piece of work and put them all together it could be something great.  I found out that I can work well with people that I don’t normally work well with. Yes, because it is a great way to meet other students in other countries. I don’t think I would change anything.

I think I do pretty well. I take advise from other students and us their opinions to better myself. Also it is more fun to work with a group. I’ve learned how to use flash to my advantage and also how Photoshop Element works. That everyone has different styles and how well we can work with each other, which is very well! I have learned that I have a tendency to turn in things late. I will look ahead and work ahead on the assignments to turn them in on time(goal). Yes, because it is fun to work with other people, especially people outside of the country! With the 7th grade GVC I find it interesting to learn about other cultures and their history. It is also fun to learn about different software and how they work on the computer.  I would change my habit of turning things in late.

I think we did great as a collaborative group. I think I have learned how to work with each even though we were in different countries. that even though we live miles away from each other we have our similarities.  I have learnt about being responsible to complete work because we’re doing this for someone else and to tell people about our country. Yes I would like to do this again because it was fun and it was a chance to share and talk to different people who are on the other side of the world to us. I think we should of talked more on Skype or even had a pen pal kind of thing to get to know each other.

I think we shared and worked well in a group. With us working so well we came up with this amazing web site   I have learned how to work the computer better, and get things done on time.  Working with students in America was great because we got to know what they celebrate. I have learned that I work better in a group and if I enjoy a subject I get it finished in time. I would like to do this subject again but it depends on what the subject is.
