David Livingstone was an amazing explorer,
born 19th March 1813. As a small boy he lived in Blantyre, Scotland,
when he was ten he began working in his father’s mill. After
eight years of working in the mill he eventually got promoted and got
his wages increased! He studied medicine at the Anderson University
in London when he left home in 1836.
The Discovery
David Livingstone made a miraculous discovery of a water fall in Africa
(1855); He called it ‘Victoria falls’. He was amazed with
what he had found; therefore he couldn't wait to get back to
England to tell the people of London what he had discovered.
The Disaster
Sadly when David Livingstone was exploring the African jungle he died
of African fever, in which no one expected! His friends and family
were in pain because of their loss. People still remember him as the
most successful explorers who ever lived
